NFL Notes: Greg Hardy, Buccaneers, Jets, Packers, & Seahawks

Greg Hardy

  • NFL says that Greg Hardy‘s status remains unchanged until the league can fully review his case. (Mike Garafolo)
  • Hardy will remain on commissioner’s exempt list.

Buccaneers

Scott Reynolds from Pewter Report writes that the Buccaneers would be “ecstatic” to get a second-round pick in return for QB Mike Glennon, but would likely settle for a third-rounder.

According to Reynolds, Tampa Bay wouldn’t go any lower than a fourth-round selection for Glennon.

Reynolds also takes a look at some potential trade partners including: the Browns, Bills, Jets, Texans, Titans, Rams, Cardinals, Redskins, and Bears.

Jets

  • In his offseason running back preview, Rich Cimini mentions that Bills free agent RB C.J. Spiller would be an “ideal fit” for the Jets.

Packers

Seahawks

  • Albert Breer mentions that the Seahawks drafting Georgia RB Todd Gurley and grooming him as Marshawn Lynch‘s successor “makes all the sense in the world.”
