Pro Football Hall of Fame executive vice president Joe Horrigan said they will have an announcement regarding changes to the procedure for selecting player that “could be” in place as soon as this year.

“Very soon we will be announcing that there will be some modifications to the selection process that would provide an opportunity for our Hall of Famers to possibly be a part of the process,” Horrigan said during appearance with Howard Balzer on Sirius XM NFL Radio, via Pro Football Talk

Cardinals

Cardinals OT Bobby Massie knew he had too much to drink and so, rather than drinking and driving, he pulled into team’s training facility as a safe haven to sleep it off, according to Adam Schefter.

  • Dianna Marie Russini also a “hunch” that Cassel will be playing quarterback for the Cowboys “sooner, rather than later.”

Falcons

  • Adam Schefter reports that Falcons WR Leonard Hankerson has cut into Roddy White’s playing time and targets, and the team now views Hankerson and White as their No. 2 and No. 2A receivers.
