Hot Seat

Nate Davis of USA Today posted his latest NFL Hot Seat rankings after Week 15’s slate of games. Here’s who could be out of a job in the coming weeks, according to Davis:

  1. Bills HC Rex Ryan
  2. Bengals HC Marvin Lewis
  3. Jets HC Todd Bowles
  4. Chargers HC Mike McCoy
  5. Bears HC John Fox
  6. Colts HC Chuck Pagano

Cardinals

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald mentioned in an interview with Westwood One’s Jim Gray that isn’t contemplating retirement, but he’s “uncertain” about what he’ll do moving forward.

“I wouldn’t say that I’m contemplating it right now,” Fitzgerald said, via AzCardinals.com, “but I’m uncertain of what I am going to do moving forward. I still love the game, I love the competition, I love being around the guys and competing for a championship.

“That’s a lot of fun for me. That’s kind of where I am at right now. I’m really just focused on these last two games.

Cowboys

  • Cowboys owner Jerry Jones mentioned that DE Randy Gregory will “absolutely” play the team’s final two weeks of the season after recently being cleared to practice. (Jon Machota)

Rams

  • Rams interim HC John Fassel said they are is considering making Sean Mannion their backup quarterback for Week 16, but nothing has been decided as of now. (Myles Simmons)
  • Matt Miller suggests Michigan TE Jake Butt as a potential target for the Rams in the second round of next year’s draft, given that he could have an immediate impact for them in 2017.
