  • Jason La Canfora reports that there continues to be a sense of optimism regarding first-round DL Leonard Williams‘ injury.
  • Williams is still undergoing an MRI Sunday to determine the severity of the injury.

Ravens

  • Aaron Wilson reports that the initial diagnosis regarding DT Timmy Jernigan indicates that he may have dodged a serious injury.

Redskins

  • Redskins HC Jay Gruden told reporters after the game that he, GM Scot McCloughan, executive Bruce Allen and owner Dan Snyder will have long talk and ultimately decide who will be the starting quarterback. (Mike Jones)
  • Backup QB Kirk Cousins said he hasn’t been told anything about possible competition for starting job. (Mike Jones)

Titans

Titans HC Ken Whisenhunt said they are open to possibly signing another running back.

“I’m sure we’ll look and see what else is out there,” said Whisenhunt, via the Tennessean. “If there’s somebody that can help us—if we need that.”
