HC John Harbaugh said that rookie WR Breshad Perriman does not have a timetable for his return from a knee injury that he sustained in training camp.
“I think I was pretty clear. It’s probably not a real big chance, because he hasn’t practiced,” Harbaugh said, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “When he comes [back] … I don’t have a time frame from the doctors. I don’t think it’s tremendously far down the road, or we would have done something else with him, as far as his status.”
Harbaugh suggested that Perriman would have been placed on the designated to return injured reserve list if he was at risk of missing eight weeks or more, so it is possible for Perriman to return during the first half of the season.
