Eagles

• Adam Caplan doesn’t see the franchise tag as a viable option for Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin.
• Caplan expects talks between the two parties to pick up as the deadline to use the tag draws closer.

Ravens

• Despite some recent optimism that the Ravens could get something worked out with DL Haloti Ngata, Jason La Canfora isn’t so sure they’ll be able to reach an agreement.

Seahawks

• Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that there’s “no doubt” Seahawks S Earl Thomas will be ready to play for the start of the 2015 season after undergoing shoulder surgery on Tuesday.
