NFL Notes: Josh Gordon, Bears, Bills, Broncos, Rams

Josh Gordon

  • Josina Anderson reports that suspended Browns WR Josh Gordon’s most recent agent terminated their relationship with him “about two weeks ago.”
  • According to Jason Cole, Gordon met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell the past few days, but he was told to reapply for reinstatement in September.
  • Cole adds that Gordon is still working out in Gainesville, Fla and appeared to be in good shape as of yesterday.
  • Earlier in the day, the NFL declined Gordon’s reinstated to the NFL. (NFLTR)

Bears

  • The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve signed fourth-round RB Tarik Cohen and fifth-round OL Jordan Morgan to four-year contracts.

Bills

  • The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve signed fifth-round LB Matt Milano and sixth-round LB Tanner Vallejo to four-year contracts.

Broncos

  • The Denver Broncos announced that they have signed three draft picks including fifth-round TE Jake Butt, sixth-round RB De’Angelo Henderson, and seventh-round QB Chad Kelly.

Rams

  • According to Vincent Bonsignore, the Rams are expected to try out undrafted QBs Matthew Davis and Bryan Scott this weekend.
