Kyle Shanahan

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Falcons OC Kyle Shanahan will interview with the Broncos and Rams today, but plans to be “picky and patient” during the process. Rapoport adds that the situation and team structure have to be perfect for him to leave.
  • According to Rapoport, the Broncos’ job appears to be the one Shanahan identifies with but the Jaguars hold interest as well.

Josh McDaniels

  • Adam Schefter reports that Patriots OC Josh McDaniels is interviewing for head-coaching jobs with the Jaguars, Rams and 49ers.

Matt Patricia

  • According to Adam Schefter, Patriots DC Matt Patricia is interviewing for head-coaching jobs with the Chargers and Rams today.

Bears

  • Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that outside linebackers coach Clint Hurtt declined a contract extension.
  • A league source tells Biggs that Hurtt is exploring an opportunity with another team.

Browns

  • Tony Grossi reports that Gregg Williams is expected to bring at least three Rams’ assistant coaches with him to the Browns if he takes over as the team’s defensive coordinator.
  • According to Marvez, one of them will be Rams DBs coach Brandon Fisher.
  • Dane Brugler mentions that if Clemson QB Deshaun Watson accepts his invite to the Senior Bowl, he’s expected to play for the South Team, which is coached by the Browns and Hue Jackson.
