NFL Notes: Laremy Tunsil, 49ers, Bills, & Packers

Mark Schlabach and Nicole Noren of ESPN are reporting that Ole Miss officials have determined that a text message conversation between OT Laremy Tunsil assistant athletic director John Miller did occur last year.

However, Ole Miss is still trying to determine if the messages were altered before they were published on Tunsil’s Instagram account.

49ers

• The 49ers announced that they’ve signed LB Wynton McManis and placed LB Kevin Anderson on waivers Thursday.
• Matt Maiocco mentions that the 49ers will likely to receive a fourth-round compensatory pick in 2017 after veteran G Alex Boone signed with the Vikings.

Bills

• Bills sixth-round WR Kolby Listenbee announced via his Twitter account that he’s signed his four-year.

Packers

• Tom Silverstein reports that the Packers have signed third-round OLB Kyler Fackrell to a four-year deal.
