NFL Notes: London, Bucaneers, Jaguars, Jets, Lions, & Raiders

London

  • According to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, the NFL “very much” wants to place a team in London and believes they have enough support from the fans over there to do so.

Buccaneers

  • QB Josh McCownhas a significant sprain” to his right (throwing) thumb and all options remain on the table. (Rick Stroud)

Jaguars

Jets

Rich Cimini of ESPN mentions that Jets players with the most trade value are probably QB Michael Vick and NT Damon Harrison.

Cimini wonders if the Rams could have interest in Vick seeing as they have been forced to play Austin Davis in back-to-back games due to injuries at the position.

As for Harrison, he has a very reasonable base salary of $570,000 this season and has been a solid run-defender in recent years.

This is just speculation on my part, but the Packers are one of a few teams that could use a better nose tackle, although they don’t usually part with draft picks.

Lions

Raiders

  • LB Sio Moore (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 3.
