NFL Notes: London, Jon Gruden, Panthers, Seahawks

London

• The Daily Mail is reporting that the NFL plans to play five games in London during the 2015 season.

Jon Gruden

• Albert Breer reports that in order for Jon Gruden to return to coaching, he would want a franchise quarterback and to not be in a rebuilding phase.
• Breer adds that Gruden does like rookie QB Derek Carr a lot, but his evaluation of their roster would play a big role in him possibly taking the job.

Panthers

• RB DeAngelo Williams will not play against the Seahawks, but is expected to be back in Week 9. (Joe Person)

Seahawks

• The Seahawks are not fielding offers for starting RB Marshawn Lynch, despite reports that he’s not expected to be back in Seattle next year. (Chris Mortenson)
