NFL Notes: Los Angeles, Adrian Peterson, Packers, & Raiders

Los Angeles

Ian Rapoport spoke to a source who explained that one scenario in regards to the Raiders would be for them to sign a one-year lease to stay in Oakland through the 2016 season.

From there, they would allow the Chargers and Rams to figure out who’s moving to Los Angeles with the Raiders being the second team in either scenario.

Rapoport mentions that waiting an addition year could give the city of Oakland time to get things sorted out and leave the Raiders as a coveted franchise from cities like San Antonio, Oakland, and possibly even St. Louis.

Adrian Peterson

Vikings HC Mike Zimmer told 1500 ESPN that he has an “indication” of when RB Adrian Peterson will be present for offseason workouts.

“I think I do have an indication,” Zimmer said. “It’s up to Adrian, really. He’s the guy you should ask…We’d like all our players here. It’s the voluntary time of year right now and it’s his decision in what he wants to do.”

Packers

Packers HC Mike McCarthy mentioned that third-round WR Ty Montgomery has really stood out in offseason workouts up to this point.

“Very impressed,” McCarthy said of Montgomery, via FOX Sports Wisconsin. “Obviously has a ton of explosion in his body. I thought he definitely stood out.

Raiders
