NFL Notes: Marcus Mariota, Draft, Dolphins, Jets

Marcus Mariota

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk proposes a few trade scenarios that would allow the Eagles to draft Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.

The first trade includes the Browns trading theirĀ  No. 12 and No. 19 along with the Eagles No. 20 pick to a team drafting in the top five. Cleveland round get QB Sam Bradford and the Eagles 2016 first-round pick and the Eagles would come away with Mariota.

The second option, according to Florio, involves the Browns trading theirĀ No. 12 and No. 19 picks along the Eagles 2016 first-round pick to the a team int he top five. The Browns would then get Bradford and No. 20 overall while the Eagles once again get Mariota.

Florio adds that the Eagles may have to absorb Johnny Manziel‘s contract to complete one of these trades.
