Bengals

  • NFL teams will begin their offseason workout programs in the coming weeks and Field Yates notes that NFL no player has a larger workout bonus this year than new Bengals LB Kevin Minter, who will make $1.1 million.

Lions

Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie explained that CB D.J. Hayden could use a “fresh start” with another team to regain some confidence.

“I think he probably made a good decision by getting away from Oakland,” McKenzie said, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “Fresh start. … I think from the neck up, from him just knowing, ‘I’m going to be confident, I’m going to be able to take this away,’ it’s just him just gaining that confidence. I think Detroit, if they do it right, they’re going to get the best out of him.

Rams

  • Montana CB J.R. Nelson has been invited to the Rams’ local prospect day. (Aaron Wilson)

Ravens
