NFL Notes: Ndamukong Suh, Brandon Marshall, Chiefs, Texans, & Vikings

Ndamukong Suh

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press takes a look at the top-five teams most likely to sign free agent DT Ndamukong Suh this offseason.

According to Birkett, the list of options for Suh is likely to include the Raiders, Jaguars, Colts, Jets and Lions. 

Brandon Marshall

• Jason La Canfora writes that he wound’t rule out a few teams being interested in Bears WR Brandon Marshall in the event Chicago made him available for trade.

Chiefs

• According to Jason La Canfora, even though the Chiefs need help at receiver, paying WR Dwayne Bowe the $11 million he’s owed for 2015 is a “luxury they can’t afford.“
• La Canfora mentions that Bowe could always agree to a pay cut to be back next year, but he wouldn’t make anything close to his current salary on the open market.

Texans

• Jason La Canfora isn’t convinced that veteran WR Andre Johnson will be back with the Texans next year.

Vikings

• Vikings FB Jerome Felton said that he’s spoken to Minnesota about possibly returning if they bring back RB Adrian Peterson. (Sirius XM NFL Radio)
• Felton opted out of his contract, but added that he would “never close the door” on Minnesota.(Sirius XM NFL Radio)
