Patriots OC Josh McDaniels said that he would like to be a head coach again at some point in the future.

This is an incredible place to work, I love being here and I’m happy to do this job as much as I can, as long as they’ll have me. I do want to be a head coach again at some point in my life,” said McDaniels, via Mike Reiss of ESPN. “I’ve learned a lot over the last so many years and hopefully gained a lot of wisdom and if and when that time comes, I’d look forward to the challenge of doing it again.”

  • Reiss notes that third-round OL Joe Thuney has lined up as the first-team left guard throughout the team’s offseason program.

Raiders

  • According to Adam Caplan, the Raiders want to complete an injury settlement with RB Roy Helu, who has already been placed on the injured reserve with a hip injury.

Vikings

  • Vikings HC Mike Zimmer said undrafted DB Keith Baxter has been in the hospital for an undisclosed reason. (Chris Tommasson)
