NFL Notes: Patriots, Redskins, Titans & Vikings

Patriots

• The Patriots downgraded DT Woodrow Hamilton to out for Sunday’s game against the Bills. (Ben Volin)
• However, TE Martellus Bennett and CB Jonathan Jones both made the trip with the team.  (Ben Volin)
• Doug Kyed points out that with Hamilton being ruled out, it means that DT Vincent Valentine made the trip to Buffalo.

Redskins

• Adam Schefter reports that CB Josh Norman (questionable, concussion) is expected to play Sunday’s game against the Bengals.
• Schefter adds that TE Jordan Reed (concussion) is also expected to play in tomorrow’s game.

Titans

• Adam Caplan reports that an MRI on Titans RB DeMarco Murray‘s toe revealed no structural damage and he is considered day-to-day moving forward.

Vikings

• Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press reports that the Vikings are likely to activate QB Taylor Heinicke from the reserve non-football injury list shortly after their Week 9 game against the Lions.
