NFL Notes: Ray Rice Investigation, Arrelious Benn, Patriots & Texans

Ray Rice Investigation

The Associated Press is reporting that a law enforcement official says he sent video of Ray Rice knocking out his then-fiancee to attention of NFL security chief Jeffrey Miller.

Both the NFL and Miller have denied that they’ve ever watched or received the video, until it was released by TMZ a few weeks ago.

I unequivocally deny that I received at any time a copy of the video and I had not watched it until it was made public on September 8,” Miller said, via Kevin Clark.

The official added that he doesn’t know if Miller ever saw the DVD, but he says that his communication was with an unidentified woman from league offices who confirmed that they received the package.
