  • Lions had left the door open for a return to the team if Austin was cleared of all charges.


Bengals DE Margus Hunt said he’ll miss the remainder of OTAs and veteran minicamp with a back injury, but is hoping to be back for part of training camp.

We’re going day-by-day. I’m trying to be back as soon as possible,” Hunt said, via Coley Harvey of ESPN. “Training camp is still in the mix, it’s just when in training camp that’s the question.


  • George Bremer reports that the Colts have waived kicker Taylor Pontius.


  • According to Scott Blair, QB Derek Carr did pretty much everything during practice making it “hard to even consider Carr limited“.
  • A Raiders source tells Adam Caplan that RB Latavius MurrayHas a chance at a huge year in this system. Because he is smart, physically a freak.
  • Caplan’s source noted that Murray improved his blocking ability substantially last year.
