NFL Notes: Bears, Rams, & Saints

Bears

  • According to Brad Biggs, the Bears will have to trim their roster by three players in the coming days following their decision to add a few tryout players this weekend.
  • Biggs adds that it’s possible Chicago could part ways with a few veterans.

Rams

  • Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News points out that the Rams like to take an instructional approach with new draft picks, which usually leads to them waiting until the final stages of the offseason to sign their players.
  • According to Bonsignore, the Rams put rookies through a financial orientation in order to offer them some financial instruction and allow them to bond as a draft class.

Saints

  • Joel A. Erickson reports that undrafted free agent TE Chris Bazile will have a second tryout with the Saints at their minicamp in June.
  • Ferris State WR Jacob Lampman announced via his Instagram account that he’s signed a contract with the Saints.
