NFL Notes: Tom Brady, Braxton Miller, & Texans

Tom Brady

  • ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that there’s “zero chance” the NFL will announce its ruling on Tom Brady‘s suspension appeal on Friday.

Braxton Miller

Ohio State QB Braxton Miller told Sports Illustrated that he has decided to change his position from quarterback to wide receiver.

NFL scouts tell Dane Brugler of CBS Sports that this was a good decision on Miller’s part in terms of playing in the NFL.

“We currently have two grades on him, one as an “athlete” and one as a quarterback,” a NFC scout said. “The grade of him as an athlete is much…better. Because that’s when he’s at his best – with the ball in his hands.”

It’s a smart, unselfish move that I bet will pay off for him. Also makes my job easier,” the scout added.
