- Joel Corry of the National Football Post believes that Broncos OLB Von Miller‘s salary floor will be Justin Houston‘s six-year, $101 million contract, with $52.5 million guaranteed, and a $20.5 million signing bonus.
Russell Wilson said on Wednesday that he was not worried about the uncertainty regarding contract negotiations with the Seahawks at this point in time.
“I love Seattle, it’s a great city,” said Wilson, via Coley Harvey of ESPN. “I’m going to play my butt off every day. That’s all I know, and we’ll see what happens.”
HC Pete Carroll said on Tuesday that contract discussions remain “underway.” However, there is still “a lot” of progress that is needed for the two sides to agree on a deal.
“Well, he’s crucial, as are all of our guys, and we want him back playing for us forever. There’s a lot of work being done. It’s underway right now and maybe it happens, I don’t know. We’re hoping for it,” said Carroll, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
