NFL Rumors: Bears, Chiefs, Giants, Packers, Steelers

Bears

Michael C. Wright of ESPN can see the Bears keeping QB Jay Cutler for another year.

Wright mentions that if Chicago were to move on from Cutler, they need to have a plan in place. The Bears just hired a new GM and still don’t have a head coach in place, so it could be best to give Cutler one more shot before making any decision regarding his long-term future with the team.

  • Wright believes Chicago’s secondary needs to be their top priority when it comes to upgrades this offseason.
  • Regarding the team’s head-coaching search, Wright expects the Bears to add even more names to the pool of candidates in the coming days.
  • According to Wright, there is definitely a chance the Bears “missed the boat” on Rex Ryan.

Chiefs

Giants

Packers

Steelers

  • Steelers worked out QB Aaron Smetanka, RB David Fluellen, and WR L’Damian Washington. (Aaron Wilson)
