NFL Rumors: Bears Keeping Olin Kreutz?

Brad Biggs of the National Football Post reports that Chicago Bears are planning on re-signing C Olin Kreutz who will turn 34 this year.

Much was made about the teams poor offensive line this season but if anyone is worth keeping it most likely Kreutz. He has been their anchor for the last 13 seasons since being drafted in 1998 and it seems as though the teams plan will be to rebuild the tackle and guard positions while keeping Kreutz at center.

Following the teams loss in the NFC Championship game, Kreutz mentioned that he would like to return to Bears so it looks like it’s just a matter of time before they come to an agreement on a new deal.
