Browns

• Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns are still in the mix for free agent WR Travis Benjamin, despite interest from the Texans and Falcons.

Dolphins

• Alex Marvez gets the sense from people within the NFL that the Dolphins will rescind the transition tag from impending free agent DE Olivier Vernon.
• Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports the Dolphins have not made a decision regarding Vernon or veteran DE Cameron Wake for the 2016 season, while Florio’s source says there are “a few other moving parts” regarding the situation.
• Additionally, Florio says that people around the NFL are “chiding” the Dolphins for their recent trades that acquired CB Byron Maxwell and LB Kiko Alonso.

Patriots

• Ryan Hannable of WEEI.com reports the Patriots will not re-sign former second-round pick S Tavon Wilson, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Redskins

• According to Jason La Canfora, free agent DE Chris Long has genuine interest from the Redskins, but has more visits scheduled with other teams.
