NFL Rumors: Eagles QB Mike Kafka On The Trading Block?

We’re already more than aware that Kevin Kolb is available and it’s because of the current labor dispute that he has yet to be traded. We’ll the it appears that the Eagles could also be entertaining the idea of trading third-string quarterback Mike Kafka.

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that a league source has indicated that the Eagles have already received offers for Kafka.

Mike Kafka was taken in the fourth-round of last years draft but hasn’t seen regular season game action up to this point. Any team that would be entertaining the idea of trading for Kafka would most likely have been targeting him in the draft last year because he’s an unproven commodity up to this point. I’d really be surprised to see a team trade for him but anythings possible.

Last year the Seattle Seahawks traded for Charlie Whitehurst even though he had little game experience and the move ultimately didn’t translate into anything positive for them.
