Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com was able to get some comments from New York Giants DE Justin Tuck regarding the teams interest in Nnamdi Asomugha.
“New York City is the place to be and that draws on its own, and plus we are a team that hasn’t gotten over the [hump] and a player like him would definitely help do so,” Tuck said.
The Giants are an interesting idea because Asomugha could really help to solidify their passing defense. New York is really strong up front but their secondary was exposed down the stretch last season. There’s no guarantee that Tuck will have a huge influence on Asomugha’s decision but it can’t hurt.
