A few weeks back we discussed the possibility that RB Willis McGahee‘s time in Baltimore could be coming to an end unless the two sides are able to restructure his contract. On the topic of a possible restructuring, McGahee’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus said that it isn’t all that likely of scenario.
“We don’t expect to be back unless they’ll pay him his contract,” Rosenhaus said bluntly, per Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
If this ends up being the case, the Miami Dolphins would figure to be an obvious option for him because of the fact that he grew up in the area and attend the University of Miami. The Dolphins are in a position where they could lose both of their running backs from the previous year via free agency. So far Miami has been linked to any and every available running back but McGahee could be a good value if the Ravens aren’t able to retain him.
