• Kent Somers still believes the Cardinals could use free agent CB Jerraud Powers after they finished up their draft class.

Cowboys

• Tony Pauline reports that the Cowboys were actually prepared to select Michigan State QB Connor Cook before the Raiders traded up ahead of them in round four.

Eagles

• Eagles HC Doug Pederson told reporters that he still has yet to speak with QB Sam Bradford since he requested a trade. (Jeff McLane)

Patriots

• According to Tony Pauline, the Patriots were “seriously considering” drafting Wisconsin QB Joel Stave at the end of round three last night before settling on Jacoby Brissett.
• Stave has reportedly signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent.

Rams

• Nick Wagoner mentions that the Rams are certain to pick up LB Alec Ogletree’s fifth-year option in the coming days.
• However, a decision regarding fellow 2013 first-round pick WR Tavon Austin hasn’t been officially made as of now.
