Jerry McDonald of InsideBayArea.com discusses the connection between the Raiders newly appointed head coach Hue Jackson and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. Jackson was the Bengals wide receivers coach before leaving to take the Raiders offensive coordinator position.
Chad speaks very highly of Jackson and the influence he’s had him over the course of his career. Here are some tweets from Ochocinco discussing Jackson.
“I would not care where Hue Jackson got a job. I would go play for him, run through a wall, jump in front of a bus, etc. u get the point.”
“Man that was the greatest coach I ever had. Hue Jackson would choke me out, cuss me out, just to make sure I was precise on everything.
“It would be refreshing to be with Hue Jackson again. I know I wouldn’t have to worry about being thrown under a bus again.”
Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis had some negative comments regarding Chad earlier in the day which will only add to the growing atomicity between the two of them. With all things considered, Ochocinco looks to be on his way out of Cincinnati and Oakland seems like the most logical destination.
Bruce Gradkowski chimed in on the situation by tweeting,”I think hue will do a great job as head coach and I think @ochocinco would be a great addition.”
