NFL Rumors: Randy Moss Hoping To Return To The Patriots?

During a radio interview with KFAN-AM in Minneapolis, Randy Moss expressed his desire to return to the New England Patriots.

“If you’re asking me where my heart and where I’m happy is, I love playing with Tom Brady. I love being coached by Bill Belichick,” said Moss.

The Patriots are the only team that has been able to get Moss to play up to his ability since he first run with the Minnesota Vikings but that may not matter to New England considering that they were 11-1 without him last season. It’s been reported that Moss had a verbal altercation with the teams coaching staff following the teams week 4 games against the Miami Dolphins which ultimately led the team to trade Moss back to the Vikings in return for a third-round pick.

At the start of the 2011 season Moss will be 34 and questions about his declining ability and overall effort are likely to work against him but the Patriots do need a deep threat and a recommitted Moss could be a valuable asset that comes with a low cost.
