NFL Rumors: Seattle’s Offensive Coordinator Search

Mondays news that the Seattle Seahawks have decided to let Jeremy Bates go wasn’t much of a surprise given that the team struggled throughout the course of season. Now that Josh McDaniels is off the board, Pete Carroll and company will have to locate someone that can do what Bates was unable or unwilling to do which is design an offense that plays to the strengths of the players on their roster.

As of now, Vikings coordinator Darrell Bevel, Ravens quarterbacks coach Jim Zorn and Atlanta Falcons quarterback coach Bill Musgrave are in play. NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports that Bevel is scheduled to meet with the Seahawks in the coming days which could lead to a deal by the end of the week.
