NFL Rumors: Titans Head Coaching Options

It seems as though the list of candidates for the Tennessee Titans head coaching position continues to grown every day. As of now it still appears that Gregg Williams and Mike Munchak are sitting atop the teams list but more names continue to be added. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Williams has meeting scheduled for Thursday to discuss the position.

Earlier today Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reported that Jim Mora Jr is interested in interviewing for the position. “If they were to express interest, I would certainly be interested,” said Mora.

The Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger and offensive line coach Mike Munchak have already interviewed for the position this week and Tennessee has already asked permission to speak with Atlanta Falcons’ offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey.

Other candidates would include former Dallas Cowboys wide receivers coach Ray Sherman and New York Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell.

Despite the growing number of candidates it still appears that Mike Munchak is in the best position to get the job but if these situations have proven anything, it’s that they are fluid and can change in a matter of minutes.
