Eagles Keeping Nick Foles In Place As Their Starting QB Moving Forward

Eagles HC Chip Kelly seemed to suggest Monday that QB Nick Foles will remain as the Eagles starter moving forward.

“16 touchdowns, no interceptions,” Kelly said, per Reuben Frank. “Why would we change?”

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise given that Foles has been piling up touchdown passes in each of the past two weeks. In fact, Foles currently leads the NFL in quarterback rating with 132.5 and has also amassed 16 total touchdowns without throwing an interception in seven appearances.

Reports over the weekend suggested that Michael Vick is still a few weeks away from returning, but at this point in time it’s fair to wonder whether or not Vick will get another shot at starting before he’s a free agent after the season.
