Nick Foles Will Be The Eagles Starting QB For The Remainder Of The Season

Eagles HC Chip Kelly told reporters on Tuesday that that Nick Foles will be the starting quarterback for the rest of the season.

This comes just days after Michael Vick admitted that Foles has played well enough to earn Eagles’ starting job.

“In all honesty, in all fairness, how can you take a guy out of the game who’s been playing so well?” Vick said of Foles. “I understand the position that this team is in. … I trust what’s going on, I enjoy being a part of it, I love the game of football in general. So it’s important to me to be there in support and be ready if my name and number is called again.”

On the season, Foles has completed over 63 percent of his passing attempts and 1,554 yards to go along with a ridiculous 16 touchdowns and no interceptions. He has clearly earned the job and may have done enough to secure the position for the foreseeable future.

Philadelphia has a share of the division lead right now and will be up against the Cardinals in Week 13.
