Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal made an appearance on SportsCenter yesterday and mentioned that “there hasn’t been any recent progress” between the Cleveland Browns and first-round pick Brandon Weeden regarding a contract agreement.
Weeden is obviously looking to secure a fully guaranteed deal, which makes plenty of sense when you consider that he’ll be 29-years-old in October.
Ulrich actually mentioned that he expects to see the Browns reach an agreement with RBÂ Trent Richardson before Weeden is officially under contract.
