Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer Entering 2017 NFL Draft

Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer announced Monday via Bleacher Report that he’s entering the 2017 NFL Draft.

Kizer will end up being one of the more intriguing prospects to watch during the draft process, as he was considered to be the best quarterback in this year’s draft class earlier in the 2016 season. However, reports later mentioned that Kizer may be better served returning to Notre Dame and getting another year of experience before turning pro.

While some may have their concerns about Kizer, he has done enough to be in the mix to be a day-one selection and there are a number of teams who will be in the market for a young quarterback including the Browns, Bears and 49ers among others.

During his college career at Notre Dame, Kizer threw for 5,805 yards while completing 60.7 percent of his passes to go along with 47 touchdowns and 19 inteceptions over the course of 25 games.
