According to ESPN Chicago, Bears C Olin Kreutz is unlikely to returning to Chicago.
“He’s always wanted to make a deal with the Bears. But right now, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen,” said Kreutz’s agent, Mark Bartlestein.
Kreutz has spent his entire career with the Bears but appears to ready to move on. In recent years he struggled a bit but the loss of Kreutz would leave the Bears with a sizable hole to fill.
The 49ers have recently been mentioned as possible suitor for Kreutz.
