Olin Kreutz Leaving Chicago?

Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times writes that there could be a number of teams interested in veteran C Olin Kreutz.

Considering that Kreutz is 34 and the fact that he was the center piece of an offensive line that gave up a staggering 52 sacks last season, it would be hard to think that there would be a hot market for his services.

Jensen lists the Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans as teams that may consider luring Kreutz away from Chicago. Kreutz brings a veteran presence and experience but he has been pretty bad at run blocking and prone to penalties.

It’s really no secret that the Bears will have to find upgrades for their the offensive line. Chicago drafted Wisconsin OT Gabe Carimi in the first-round of this years draft who should be able to solidify one of their tackle positions in the coming years but their interior line will also need to be addressed.

I could understand why Kreutz would consider leaving since a quarter of his season will be going against B.J. Raji, Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley.
