Broncos middle linebacker Joe Mays has been suspended for one game following his helmet-to-helmet hit on Texans quarterback Matt Schuab, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
In addition to his one game suspension, Mays will also be fine $50,000. Due to Mays’ ferocious hit, Schuab lost part of his earlobe as the hit knocked his helmet off. Mays will appeal the suspension, so he should play Sunday against the Raiders on Sunday.
