Just 3 Rookies From 2015 Draft Class Remain Unsigned

As of today, 253 of the 256 2015 NFL draft picks have signed their rookie contracts, leaving just seven unsigned rookies.

NFL teams have been making progress in recent days in regards to the remaining unsigned rookies, so there’s a chance that the entire draft class could be under contract by this weekend.

As of now, here are the draft picks who have yet to sign their rookie contracts:

  • Titans first-round pick QB Marcus Mariota. (#2 overall)
  • Colts third-round pick CB D’Joun Smith. (#65 overall)
  • Colts third-round pick DE Henry Anderson. (#93 overall)

Marcus Mariota is reportedly looking for the Titans to include offset language in his contract that would allow him to collect from both Tennessee and a new team in the event that he’s waived at some point before the end of his rookie contract.

Obviously, this is an unlikely scenario and it’s worth mentioning that No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston did not receive offset language in his rookie agreement with the Buccaneers, which could work against Mariota.

We’ll have more updates regarding the remaining unsigned rookies as the news is available.
