Packers Activate CB Makinton Dorleant & Place CB Demetri Goodson On I.R.

According to Jason Wilde, the Packers have activated CB MakintonĀ Dorleant from their injured reserve and placed CB Demetri Goodson on injured reserve in a corresponding roster move.

The Packers designated Dorleant as their designated player to return off injured reserve, so this move was expected to occur.

Dorleant, 24, signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Iowa. He wound up making the teamā€™s 53-man roster but landed on the injured reserve after sustaining a hamstring injury during the preseason.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Goodson, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2014. Heā€™s in the third year of his four-year, $2,323,152 million contractĀ and stands to make a base salary ofĀ $600,000 for the 2016 season.

He suffered a knee injury during Week 11 that required him to be carted off the field.

In 2016,Ā Goodson appeared in six games for the Packers and recorded 14 tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
