Free agent running back Cedric Benson told Adam Schein of Sirius XM Blitz that there has been “check-ins” from the Packers, and the Raiders this offseason.
Benson pointed out that the Jets have checked in “way earlier” during the summer. Although he made it pretty clear that he doesn’t intend to play under the veteran minimum.
The Raiders have been speculated as a fit for Benson since the offseason started, but they appear to not be in any rush to sign him.
