Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Packers CB Damarious Randall got into an argument with a coach during Thursday game and was sent into the locker room.

Randall elected to leave the stadium after he was benched in favor of Josh Hawkins.

According to Rapoport, Randall met with Packers HC Mike McCarthy regarding the situation and they cleared the air regarding the matter.

Rob Demovsky reports that Gren Bay is unlikely to cut Randall following the sideline incident, but internal discipline is expected.

Randall was beaten badly for a touchdown last night and was seen on the bench away from the team shortly after.

Randall, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $7.916 million contract that included $6.401 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $1,154,612 and $1,090,381 over the next two years.

The Packers will have to decide whether to pick up his fifth-year option next year.

In 2017, Randall has appeared in four games and recorded 18 tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
