Packers CB Herb Waters Out For Season With Shoulder Injury

Pro Football Talk, citing a source, reports that Packers CB Herb Waters is out for the season with a shoulder injury.

  • Packers officially waived CB Herb Waters with an injury designation.

The Packers will likely waive Waters with an injury designation in the coming days and he would revert to their injured reserve list should he clear waivers.

Waters, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of last year. He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.

During his college career at Miami, Waters played receiver and caught 99 passes for 1,534 yards receiving and nine touchdowns over the course of 42 games.
