Rob Demovsky reports that the Green Bay Packers claimed DE Shaneil Jenkins off waivers from the Seahawks and placed TE Beau Sandland on injured reserve.
Jenkins, 23, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd back in May of last year. He was waived during the preseason and later signed on with the Cowboys.
The Seahawks eventually signed him to their practice squad toward the end of the 2016 season before returning to Seattle on a future/reserve contract this past January.
Jenkins has yet to appear in an NFL game.
