Packers Could Cut DE Mike Neal Following The Draft

Pro Football Weekly reports that the sources close to the Green Bay Packers have mentioned that it would “not be shocking” to see them release DE Mike Neal following the draft.

They do admit that this move is “not a given,” but the fact that Neal is facing a possible four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing  drug policy, paired with his injury history, could make him a candidate to be released.

The Packers have already brought in two defensive linemen during the offseason and could add some extra talent during the upcoming draft considering that they have 12 draft picks to work with.
