Packers Cut WR Myles White To Create Roster Spot For James Jones

Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports that the Packers are waiving WR Myles White to create a roster spot for veteran WR James Jones

There was some speculation last night that White could be the odd-man-out in Green Bay, even though he survived their final roster cuts on Saturday.

White, 25, has two years remaining on his three-year, $1.485 million contract, which includes base salaries of $510,000 and $600,000 over the next two years.

In 2013, White appeared in seven games for the Packers and caught nine passes for 66 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

It will be interesting to see if they add him to their practice squad.
