Rob Demovsky reports that Packers DT Letroy Guion suffered an MCL sprain during Sunday’s loss to the Vikings.

According to Demovsky, the initial tests revealed that Guion did not sustain any damage to his ACL, which is obviously great news for him. An MCL sprain could keep Guion out a few weeks, but it’s not considered to be a long-term injury.

First-round pick Kenny Clark filled in for Guion after he left the game.

Guion, 29, is in the first year of his three-year, $11.25 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $2 million for the 2016 season.

Entering today’s game, Guion had recorded two tackles and sacks for the Packers. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 25 interior defender out of 114 qualifying players.
