Packers Expected To Re-sign Ryan Grant
The Green Bay Packers running game leaves plenty to be desired but Fox Sports Wisconsin reports that the team is expected to re-sign RB Ryan Grant during the offseason.
Last year there was plenty of speculation that Grant could be released following the rise of James Starks and the fact that they used their third-round pick on Alex Green. Instead, Grant agreed to a pay cut and remained with the Packers which proved to be a wise decision as Green was lost for the season and Starks battled through injuries for a portion of the year.
Brandon Saine looked good despite his limited role so it will be interesting to see how their backfield rounds out next season.
